Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Night Shift Location: Not Specified. This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care targeted to the physical, psychological, social, spiritual, developmental, and discharge planning needs of patients.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree, Location, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience related to the clinical area is preferred. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months is required.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, formulating and implementing care plans, coordinating and delegating nursing activities, documenting care, evaluating patient responses, and participating in quality improvement activities.
• May supervise staff and work flow as assigned.
• Demonstrates ability to respond quickly and appropriately to patient care needs, use proper body mechanics, and communicate effectively.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, ensuring excellent service delivery to patients, families, and team members.
