Position requires ARRT certified CT Tech (CT and XR). This is a Level I Trauma position. The shift is 3x12 hours nights (1800-0630), with every fourth weekend and holidays as assigned. Call is assigned within staff rotation. Large hospital or Trauma Level I/II experience is preferred. Graduate of an accredited radiography program is necessary. The position includes performing and completing diagnostic procedures and following guidelines set by the organization. Candidates should prepare patients for examinations and perform diagnostic radiology procedures according to established protocols. Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. This role provides radiation safety for the operator and the patient. Candidates will place patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine procedures. Charcoal grey scrubs are the required attire. Experience with EPIC EMR is necessary. The facility uses GE and Toshiba equipment. Typical volume for the department is approximately 270-290 scans per day. The minimum patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends is 1.5. Every traveler is required to float. The position requires covering weekends. More than one call-off may lead to termination; NCNS results in immediate termination. Every other weekend and every other holiday is required.
