Express Employment Professionals Woodbury, MN is now hiring a  Light Equipment Operator for a well established  printing company in the  East Metro !

Schedule & Pay:

• Start on a steady 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday – Friday
• Transition to a rotating 3x12 schedule: Be open to working 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM ,  just 3 days a week – 4 days off!
• Some  weekend flexibility is required
• Starting Pay: $18.66/hr.
  Pay increase upon hire – show your skills and get rewarded! Substantial increase upon hire!
  Full-time, long-term opportunity with room to grow! 

 

What You’ll Do:

Join a supportive team environment where you’ll operate and maintain  light production machinery to ensure high-quality printing and packaging products. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating finishing/binding/packaging equipment
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assisting in training new teammates and coordinating workflows
• Learning new areas and cross-training to build your skillset

Ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable with light mechanical work and machine operation
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Willing to learn, cross-train, and adapt to production needs
• Strong attendance and good communication skills
• Computer literate with strong  technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using  rulers, measurements, and basic math for precise adjustments.
• Able to  understand, read, and speak English clearly for safe and accurate communication.
• Basic understanding of presswork procedures and materials (on-the-job training provided).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and multitask effectively in a busy environment.
