Plant Supervisor
Farnsworth Metal Recycling
Farnsworth Metals/Ray's Recycling seeks a reliable and skilled plant supervisor to join our team. You will play an integral role in running a scrap yard. Management experience preferred. If you have a strong commitment to safety and keen attention to detail, then we would like to hear from you.
- Operate and drive forklifts. - Inspect equipment for mechanical issues to ensure safe operation. - Maintain accurate records of daily logs and daily inspections. - Adhere to all company policies to ensure the safety of all traffic. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding any issues that may arise. - Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and vendors.
**Qualifications: **
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. - Physical fitness to load and unload heavy cargo if required. - Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
