MANUFACTURING TECHS/ASSEMBLERS HOURS: 7AM - 3PM MONDAY – FRIDAY, SOME SATURDAYS. 3PM-11:30PM MONDAY- FRIDAY, SOME SATURDAYS, TRANING 1 WEEK 7AM TO 3PM PAY RATE: $17.69/HR FOR 1ST, $19.19 FOR 2ND SHIFT LOCATION: MINERAL POINT, WI Position Summary An assembler at Cummins is responsible for building, assembling, and testing engine components or complete systems in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on quality, safety, and efficiency while following standardized processes. Key Responsibilities Assemble engine parts, components, or subassemblies using hand and power tools Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical diagrams Inspect parts for defects and ensure products meet quality standards Operate machinery or production equipment as required Perform basic testing of assembled units Maintain a clean and safe work environment Report issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors Meet daily production targets and timelines Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED (typical minimum) Ability to read and understand technical instructions or schematics Basic mechanical aptitude Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes Experience using torque tools, gauges, or measurement devices Sedona Staffing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
