Schedule Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; may require every other weekend. Job Description The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on respiratory therapies and interventions. This role requires proficiency in various procedures, including extubation, nasal airway placements, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene. The therapist will administer medications, including inhaled steroids and bronchodilators, through various aerosol delivery systems and must have experience with BiPAP and CPAP therapies. Responsibilities Assist in adult critical care work settings. Perform suctioning and airway management. Conduct sputum specimen collection. Administer respiratory medications as prescribed. Monitor and troubleshoot high pressure alarms. Wean patients from mechanical ventilation as necessary. Float to other units as qualified and needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Active RRT SC licensure required.
