Must-Have:
Cath Lab experience
Circulating skills
Sedation experience
Atherectomy experience
IVUS and thrombectomy skills a plus
RCIS certification a plus
Scrubbing and monitoring experience not required but welcome


Description:
We are the area's only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital and the first Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.
We also hold the designation of Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
Our facility includes an all-private room acute care hospital and a CARF-accredited, comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital.
Major services offered include cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency care, behavioral health, obstetrics, and rehabilitative medicine.


The Cath Lab features:
4 rooms and a holding area with a patient ratio of 1:1.
Unit staffing includes CV analysts, RNs, and RT scrubs.
Type of equipment includes GE imaging.
Documentation is handled through Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech EMR.


Scheduling requirements consist of four 10-hour shifts, with six to eight shifts on call per month and one weekend per month.
Floating policies are not required.
Patient experience requirements will be determined by the facility.


Common procedures performed in the unit include:
Left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, coronary interventions, pacemaker insertion, electrophysiology studies with ablation, Watchman device insertion, TAVR, and PFO closure.
