Registered Nurse - Telemetry (ICCU) - 13 Weeks Contract

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialization in telemetry to join our Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-focused care and be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vitals and cardiac telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech.
• Perform procedures such as TEE and cardioversion.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active Texas RN license (temporary license not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• 2+ years of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
