SLP, School Based Speech-Language Pathologist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Pell City. This role is perfect for a professional eager to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals by helping them achieve greater independence and functionality in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine their needs and the appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and capabilities.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve patients' motor skills, daily living activities, and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on how to manage disabilities and enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
