Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Pennsylvania licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Nason, Pennsylvania. This role involves covering a community hospital emergency department with scheduled shifts and a comprehensive support team.

Opportunity Highlights

• Emergency Medicine locum tenens position
• Coverage dates include multiple shifts from August through December
• ED volume: ADC is 44 patients
• Staffing model: 1 Physician shift from 6AM-6PM and 6PM-6AM + 1 APP from 11AM-9PM
• Nursing team: 2 RNs around the clock, triage RN mid-day, additional respiratory, float RN, Nursing Supervisor, and Nurse Manager
• No Labor & Delivery coverage; transfers to Conemaugh when stable
• EM BOARDED REQUIRED
• Pennsylvania license required

Schedule Details

• Multiple scheduled shifts from August through December on a 24-hour basis
• Specific dates and times to be confirmed upon assignment

Clinical Scope

• Emergency department evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and discharge of all ages
• Management of traumatic, medical, and procedural emergencies
• Coordination with nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and transfer teams
• Documentation within the appropriate EMR system

Requirements

• Active PA medical license
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Certified in ACLS and BLS
• Prefer candidates with clean malpractice history and positive NPDB profile
