Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens 
12-Hour Shifts | Daily APP Overlap | Epic EMR

Rhino Medical is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania . This community Emergency Department offers a defined 12-hour coverage model, daily APP overlap, experienced nursing and ancillary support, and an extensive schedule of available day and night shifts through June 2027.

Schedule & Coverage

• 12-hour physician shifts
• Day shift: 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Night shift: 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Both day and night coverage available
• Open dates from January through June 2027
• Multiple shifts available each month
• Flexible block scheduling based on provider availability

Emergency Department

• Average daily census: approximately 44
• Single-physician coverage on each 12-hour shift
• APP coverage daily from 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
• Epic EMR
• Community Emergency Medicine environment

Clinical Support

• Two RNs around the clock
• Additional triage RN coverage midday
• Respiratory support
• Float RN
• Nursing Supervisor
• Nurse Manager

Clinical Considerations

• No Labor & Delivery service onsite
• In the event of an unexpected delivery, the Emergency Medicine physician provides initial delivery care and coordinates transfer once the patient is stable

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• Comfortable providing independent Emergency Department physician coverage
