Your background in school-based speech therapy, coupled with your SLP-CCC credentials, will enable you to provide essential services and advocacy for adolescents as they develop critical language and communication skills. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to create a positive learning experience tailored to each student’s needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong ability to develop IEPs and document student progress
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide diagnostic evaluations for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
• Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in IEP meetings
• Keep thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Adapt interventions to diverse learning styles and language needs
