Industry Pharmaceuticals Type Public Company About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Data Science with a focus on leading transformative initiatives in AI/ML applications for precision medicine and disease modeling. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of clinical data science, influencing global regulatory standards, and driving innovation in the integration of advanced data science methodologies to enhance clinical trial designs and outcomes. This role involves overseeing large-scale data science projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring a high-performing team of data scientists. The Executive Director will also be expected to engage with industry experts, represent the organization in regulatory discussions, and foster a collaborative, high-impact environment. Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree in computational sciences, with a minimum of 10 years' of industry experience in clinical development, including data science and biostatistics. Recognized expertise in AI/ML modeling and precision medicine applications is essential, as is a proven ability to influence regulatory authorities and lead diverse teams in a data science setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical methods and their application in clinical trials, with a preference for those with research experience in neurology, particularly in Alzheimer's disease biomarkers. The role requires a leader who can drive operational excellence, maintain quality and efficiency in deliverables, and effectively communicate complex data science concepts to stakeholders.
