Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This position requires floating between various units and involves weekend duties in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients as per hospital acuity.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments and treatments.

Schedule

The RRT will work day or night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week.

• Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
• Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Note that block schedules are not required and 48-hour work weeks are approved.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to float between units and adapt to varying patient needs.

Special Requirements

This role requires commitment to weekend shifts as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. On-call duties are not expected.
