Physician / Gynecology / California / Permanent / Physician - Obstetrics / Gynecology in California Job

Are you an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in California might be the perfect fit for you!

• Schedule: 3-4 days per week; 9:00am-4:00pm (or 8:30am start if preferred); guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 8 hours; on call 3-4 days per week (weekday call 5:00pm-7:00am or weekend call 7:00am-7:00am)
• Job Setting: Clinic and hospital coverage for deliveries
• Types of Cases: 18-20 patient encounters per shift; low and high risk pregnancy; routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs); repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations; office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP); surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major)
• Credentialing: 90 days; June start anticipated

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: Active CA license and CA DEA; case logs required for hospital coverage credentialing
