For additional information about Artivion, visit our website, .Position Overview:Artivion Inc. is seeking a highly motivated tax professional to join our Finance team’s tax function at our fast-growing, multinational public company. The Senior Tax Manager will work closely with the VP, Tax to provide tax provision, compliance, and planning support as well as process improvements to scale tax operations. This opportunity requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills in addition to the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively while managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:Assist with all aspects of the preparation of worldwide ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions, using OneSource Tax Provision software, including coordination and review of foreign tax reporting packages into the provision.Review and oversee the preparation of US Federal and State income tax returns and estimated tax payments, with all supporting schedules.Review returns prepared by 3rd party advisors. Prepare and review domestic and foreign return to provision reconciliations and related journal entries.Assist with calculating and compiling US and International cash tax projections for the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process.Assist with transfer pricing documentation, monitoring and analysis.Support R&D credit studies, international expansion, and other internal tax research projectsManage and track a global tax calendar, direct and indirect (excluding S&U).Manage, track and resolve domestic tax notices and tax related inquiries from other functions within the Company.Assist with review of quarterly income tax estimates, business licenses and other indirect tax filings (excluding S&U tax filings).Support SOX compliance through documentation and timely performance controls.Support the evolution of the tax function, tax technology tools, and technological enhancements using accounting and finance reporting systems.Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as necessary.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred7+ years of experience in tax, preferably with a mix of public accounting and global in-house corporate tax function experienceExcellent organizational skills; proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to work well with others in a team setting, highly motivated, and a self-starterStrong analytical, technical, written, and oral communication skillsProactive and resourceful team player with positive attitude and energy, close attention to detailProficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite productsKnowledge of OneSource Tax Provision preferredKnowledge of US income tax laws with a strong understanding of income tax return compliance and financial accounting for income taxes.Ability to collect data, establish facts, research technical issues and draw valid conclusionsJob SummaryRequisition Number: SENIO Job Category: Accounting/FinanceSchedule: Full-Time
