We want you to view your time at Westfall as an investment to your future.We are currently seeking Warehouse Assistant, with the below qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Vocational training or certifications in logistics, warehousing, or forklift operation preferred.At least 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) is an advantage.Basic understanding of warehouse procedures, material handling, and safety protocols.Positive outlook while working through obstacles.Self-starter, high level of initiativeDetail orientated.Good time management skills.Good communication skills — written, verbal, active listening.Essential Functions and Physical DemandsMust be able to climb ladders.Must be able to lift up 50 lbs regularlyMust be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to operate necessary equipment to do the job.Requires frequent bending, squatting and twisting motions.Continuously perform visual inspections on partsAttention to detail.Duties & ResponsibilitiesInventory Handling & StorageReceive, unpack, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products.Sort, label, and store inventory in appropriate bins, shelves, or storage areas.Maintain an organized and accessible warehouse layout to ensure efficient inventory flowStack and organize large bulk items safely and securelyInventory Control & DocumentationPerform regular inventory checks and audits to maintain accuracy and report any discrepancies.Update inventory logs, systems, and physical documentation in a timely and accurate manner.Prepare inventory documentation for compliance audits and internal reporting.Identify and report damaged, defective, or missing items to the supervisor or quality control.Order Fulfillment & Logistics SupportPick, package, and label items accurately for delivery or internal transfers.Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers using appropriate handling tools or equipment.Transfer materials from the warehouse to production workstations or other internal locations as needed.Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure timely delivery to shipping bays or external destinations.Safety & Equipment OperationOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety standards.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and wear always required personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain a clean, debris-free, and hazard-free workspace, including aisles, shelves, and loading areas.Report any unsafe practices, equipment malfunctions, or hazards to the warehouse lead.Teamwork & CommunicationWork collaboratively with warehouse staff, production teams, procurement, and logistics personnel to ensure operational efficiency.Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and other third-party providers as needed.Support other departments during peak periods, urgent shipments, or inventory reconciliations.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.General Warehouse SupportMaintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, bins, and workstations.Assist in ordering or restocking supplies as directed by supervisors.Ensure all outbound products meet packaging and labeling requirements.What You'll Love About Us:Salary: $17.00 - $20.00/hour (Based on education and experience)11 Paid Holidays, Sick Pay, Vacation Pay401K, Plus Employer MatchMedical, Dental, Vision, Company Sponsored Life and AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability, Paid Parental Leave, and More…We are committed to creating a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
