Position Summary
The Clinic Facilitator at the Bowyer Oncology Center is an essential member of the patient care team, providing administrative support to patients, families, and healthcare providers. This position serves as a primary communication hub for the clinic and is responsible for maintaining efficient front office operations while delivering compassionate, professional service.

Must have 6 months of experience in a medical front office




Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage heavy phone lines while providing clear, courteous, and professional communication.
Perform front desk check-in duties and greet patients upon arrival.
Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office environment.
Complete warm transfers by identifying callers' needs, introducing them to the appropriate oncology sub-specialty, and ensuring a seamless handoff.
Navigate the clinic phone system efficiently to direct calls to the appropriate department or provider.
Schedule and coordinate clinic appointments, chemotherapy sessions, and related ancillary testing.
Coordinate complex appointment needs while ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
Provide administrative support to patients, families, providers, and other members of the care team.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion when interacting with patients and families.
