Outpatient Physical Therapist - Hand Specialty Schedule This position is a 5-day, 8-hour shift. The working hours are as follows: Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients with hand and orthopedic needs. This role includes making splints and managing a full hand caseload. The therapist must adhere to physician directions and ensure functional treatment programs are effective for patient rehabilitation. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on patient goals. Document patient progress in medical records accurately and timely. Educate patients, families, and coworkers on therapy services and rehabilitation processes. Participate in professional development activities and adhere to ethical professional standards. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Must have hand experience and be comfortable making splints. 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred. Current CPR certification. Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist. Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) preferred.
