Experienced Caregiver

Location: Northwest Arkansas

Job Type: This is a Part-Time, but could be built to a full-time position by adding another client.

Pay: $13 to 16 per hour (based on location and client needs)

We're not looking for someone who just wants a paycheck.

At Right at Home Northwest Arkansas, we provide one-on-one, in-home care that allows seniors and adults with disabilities to remain independent, safe, and comfortable where they want to be: at home.

As a caregiver, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, providing care that makes a real difference every day.

Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

• Meal planning and meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Grocery shopping and errands

• Transportation to appointments

• Companionship and conversation

• Dementia and Alzheimer's care

• Mobility assistance and transfers

• Monitoring changes in a client's condition and communicating with our office

Every client is different, and we work hard to match caregivers with clients who fit their experience, personality, and schedule.

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• Current CNA certification

• Expired CNA certification

• PCA certification

• At least one year of verifiable experience providing personal care with a long term care facility

You must also have:

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver's license

• Current auto insurance

• Ability to pass required background screening

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Wants meaningful work instead of just another job

• Enjoys building relationships with seniors

• Takes pride in being dependable

• Wants to make a positive difference in someone's life every day

This position involves hands-on personal care.

Some clients need assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
