Job Summary

The organization is seeking a qualified Anesthesia Technologist (ANSTECH) in a short-term acute care setting. This role involves supporting anesthesia care across multiple units, providing specialized technical assistance, and working in a fast-paced clinical environment to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Job Details

• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Education Requirements: Relevant credentialing as an Anesthesia Technician or equivalent
• Location Requirements: Current valid license (preferably compact) in the state of practice
• Years of Experience: 1 year minimum; experience requirement: 0 years
• Schedule: Shift times are from 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM or 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week over 8-hour shifts.
• Position responsibilities include assisting anesthesia providers with critical procedures, equipment management, and patient positioning.
• The candidate must be willing to rotate between units, including float duties, and participate in on-call activities overnight, on weekends, and holidays.
• Additional requirements include experience with ambulatory operating rooms, emergency intubations, IV insertion, and anesthesia machine troubleshooting.
• Prior experience in a community hospital setting or trauma level I or II units is preferred.
• Candidate must include responses regarding previous employment at a Providence facility, references, and be prepared to work specified holidays with upfront scheduling requests.
