Join Our Team as a Pulmonary Physician

Our organization in Freeport, Illinois, is excited to announce an opportunity for a Full-Time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary Physician to become part of our growing team.

Opportunity Overview:

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays
• Available Roles:
  • Pulmonary Inpatient
  • Pulmonary Outpatient
• EMR System: Currently using Meditech, transitioning to Epic in October

Departmental Scope:

• ICU Level: Level 2
• ICU Capacity: 8 Beds
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Post-operative general surgery
  • Mechanical ventilation
  • Sepsis
  • Substance abuse/withdrawal
  • Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
• ICU Type: Open ICU supported by a robust Hospitalist team
• Patient Transfer: High acuity cases transferred to JBH and MHTC

Required Qualifications:

• MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Fellowship training in Pulmonology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois
• Strong clinical skills in high-acuity ICU environments
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: Ranges from $470,000 to $500,000
• Retention and/or sign-on bonus available
