Institutional Support Associate II

WHO are we looking for? CAPTRUST is seeking an Institutional Support Associate II who will support the Financial Advisor Service Team to service and retain institutional client relationships. These relationships may consist of corporate retirement plan investment committees, human resource or employee benefit contacts, and external vendor partners. The candidate must maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, be well‑organized, service‑oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Must be adaptable, show ability to retain information and possess a strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills. The work location is our Raleigh, NC office. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service and become a trusted partner to the Financial Advisor Service Team in managing their book of business by ensuring service needs are carried out with the highest level of attention and in a timely manner Develop, compile, and ensure accuracy of quarterly and ad‑hoc/client specific reports, spreadsheets, and presentations Oversee critical maintenance/organization of system files, records, and assist with new client onboarding Aid in the retention of existing client relationships by applying the highest level of service to all questions, requests, and deliverables Establish and develop relationships with FA service team and internal business partners Coordinate and manage the efforts of internal business partners to ensure appropriate recommendations for each client Assist in quarterly data collection, auditing, and input of system data Perform other duties and special projects independently or with a team as required by Financial Advisor Service Team or the Institutional Client Services department Minimum Qualifications Completion of a four‑year college degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Finance or Economics or equivalent years of experience 1‑3 years of industry related experience Technical proficiency in navigating CRM system, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Adobe and Nitro Desired Qualifications / Skills Excellent oral and written communications skills Exceptional attention to every detail and a personal ambition to be error‑free Self‑motivated and able to work well independently AND with others Excellent math skills and the ability to grasp financial/investment concepts Flexible with changes in priorities and able to handle the pressure of short deadlines Strong time‑management skills; maintains a personal calendar/task planner system Desired Qualities Ability to build successful, collaborative, and trusting relationships Instinctive aptitude for consistently creating accurate, concise, respectful, and easy‑to‑understand verbal and written communications conveying complex information A strong sense of urgency about getting work done and solving problems to achieve results that benefit our clients and colleagues, even when faced with challenges Inherent desire to give back to our communities and enrich the lives of those around us An other‑centered mindset Integrity through maintaining objectivity Benefits Company discretionary bonus Health, dental, and vision coverage, employer 401(k) plan and company match, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and voluntary supplemental plans subject to plan terms Company‑paid benefits such as life insurance, short‑term disability, and long‑term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods Paid time off (PTO) or Paid Sick Leave (PSL) Location 4208 Six Forks Rd #1700 | Raleigh, NC 27609.
