Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company and they're\nlooking for a Maintenance Engineer.\n\nSummary\n\nBattery equipment maintenance engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable\noperation of equipment and machinery for the production by performing preventive\nmaintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position will also need to\ncooperate with equipment engineers, controls engineers, production engineers,\nprocess engineers, production managers, and other teams to minimizing downtime,\nmaximizing uptime, and optimizing production efficiency. This position will also\nneed to interact with other teams and vendors to solve complex and/or urgent\nproblems by identifying and evaluating alternatives or by providing needed\ninformation and advice. As working on 24/7 facility, this position may require\non-call support on various circumstances. Candidate should be motivated problem\nsolver that can provide creative solution approaches to your task with concern\nabout effectiveness and quality that well based in the technology expertise and\nbest practices.\n\n \n\nKey Areas of Responsibility:\n\n * Working in a cooperative team environment with Maintenance team members on\n emergency repairs, implementing corrective actions to achieve production\n milestone\n * Troubleshoot / devise effective solutions to address challenges in equipment\n including emergency repairs on production equipment to minimize the downtime\n * Oversee the new or modified production equipment installation & setup\n * Analyze the equipment issues and develop the corrective actions\n * Establish / perform preventive maintenance plan including regular overhaul\n * Manage the spare parts & tools including purchasing order & safety stock\n management\n * Develop engineering solutions for continuous improvement in the area of\n uptime, safety, and quality.\n * Report key maintenance activities/results/indicators on a daily or weekly\n basis\n * Revise / create the work instruction for training & provide the training for\n team members\n * Continuously improve production environment with 5S & 3R standard\n\n \n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor degree or above in engineering (mechanical, electrical or similar)\n * 3years or more of relevant experience in maintenance of high-volume\n manufacturing\n\n \n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Battery maintenance experiences are appreciated. Or similar equipment\n experiences to each of battery manufacturing process like electrode,\n assembly, formation are preferred\n * Experience with the new battery production equipment installation & setup
