Vesta Digital Intelligence
Consulting Lead, Delivery (New York City)
About Vesta
Vesta Digital Intelligence is a boutique consulting firm that implements Atlassian and Asana for mid-market and enterprise clients. Our work spans Jira and Jira Service Management, Atlassian Cloud migrations, ITSM architecture, Asana enterprise rollouts, and AI integration.
We're a small, senior team, so the work is hands-on and your decisions shape how we deliver.
The role
The Consulting Lead runs day-to-day delivery alongside the CEO, leading client engagements while coordinating a team of consultants and subcontractors. This is a full-time position for a candidate based in the New York City area. Day-to-day work is remote, with occasional in-person time.
Expect roughly 60-70% of your time on billable client work. The rest goes to staffing, delivery quality, and mentoring.
What you'll do
- Lead client engagements end to end: discovery, design, build, and handoff.
- Coordinate delivery across our consultants and subcontractors, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and keeping projects on scope and on budget.
- Review requirements, designs, and configurations for quality before they reach the client.
- Coach consultants on technique, client communication, and best practices.
- Help scope new work and estimate hours alongside leadership.
- Help refine our delivery methodology and templates as we grow.
What we're looking for
We want a hands-on Atlassian or Asana expert with 5-10 years of experience who can lead projects and coordinate other consultants.
- Based in the New York City area, and able to be in person about four times a month.
- 5-10 years of professional experience, including consulting or client-facing delivery.
- Hands-on expertise in Atlassian (Jira, JSM, Confluence) or Asana. You need deep experience in at least one. Experience in both is a plus, and we'll help you build the other.
- Experience leading projects, and ideally some experience directing or mentoring other consultants.
- Strong client communication, from workshops to executive updates.
- Comfort being billable while also managing others.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, including new platform features and AI tooling.
Nice to have
These strengthen an application but aren't required.
- Atlassian or Asana certifications
- ITIL or ITSM background
- Cloud migration experience
- Experience managing contractors
Location
Vesta is remote-first and has no office. For this role, we're looking for someone based in the New York City area. Day-to-day work is remote, and we ask for in-person time with the team about four times a month.
Compensation and benefits
Base salary is $115,000-$145,000, depending on experience.
- Performance bonus tied to utilization and delivery results
- Unlimited PTO
- 401(k) with company match
- Health benefits
