Bilingual Well-Being Navigator – Orlando, FLThe Well-Being Navigator will build trust and rapport with Disney employees and leaders at their dedicated worksite to help facilitate culture change in all areas of well-being. This client-facing role will be onsite full-time with the ability to travel to any of Disney's properties at Disney's request. The navigator will serve as a wellness benefit concierge, providing referrals and education that support both emotional and physical well-being. The navigator is committed to addressing the employee's barriers to care including social determinants of health by helping the employees navigate and schedule all healthcare appointments or connect to community resources to meet their needs.Qualifications:Haitian Creole Bilingual to support Disney's employees (Cast Members)Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, or health related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience in workplace health and wellness programmingUnderstanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural communitiesHighly sociable and comfortable initiating conversationsNatural ability to connect with peopleWork independently with little supervisionAbility to maintain member confidentialityOrganized, using internal resources to find answersStrong team player, capable of accomplishing program goalsResponsibilities:Customer Engagement:Proactive and responsive to employee needs in a friendly and professional mannerProvide referrals and social support to appropriate well-being resources, programs, and health care servicesConnect to local services and community resources to address specific needsFollow-up with employees on referrals to ensure individual needs have been metEngaging thoughtfully to help individuals that don't know they need care or exactly what care they needComplete required record keeping for tracking results and provide feedback on program goals and objectives in a timely mannerSchedule onsite Employee Assistance Program (EAP) appointmentsSchedule telephonic coaching (for those eligible)Wellness initiative campaigns communication:Meet with local leaders and offer to speak at their team meetings to help bring awareness to the Navigator role and other programming as neededDistribution of collateral to local leaders, resource centers, and other areasNimble and flexible nature required to engage the evolving needs of the populationWell-Being Navigator Overview:Wellness benefit conciergeProvide referrals and education that support total well-being needsConnect members to programs or resources to address specific needsHelp members download apps and register for programsHelp resolve members' questions & concerns (may have to transfer to another department)Guide members to Disney's online portal to enroll in medical benefitTypical Day:Setup table with tablecloth & collateral (brochures)Proactively ask members questions to engage themExplain your role & how you can helpIf you are not in a busy location, put up the "be right back sign" and walk around to find members to engageElectronically document education and referrals provided in the navigation formSkills:BilingualFriendly with the ability to engage members into conversation casuallyExperience with corporate wellness resources like employee assistance program (EAP)Independent and reliable workerFlexible work schedule - Not looking to take any time off during temp assignmentTraining – 4-5 days – at home except for on-property for the backstage tour Overview:Disney Matrix partnersHow to documentTour backstage work locationInterview process:Virtual via videoAt least 2 people will make up interview panelEducation:Minimum of 2 years' experience in health and wellness fieldBachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, or social workExperience with direct member communication (written and verbal)Languages:English Read Write SpeakHaitian Read Write Speak
