Under the supervision and direction of the Director, to successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. 

• Proofread and Edit artwork and other materials
• Compare and check paperwork
• Inspect plate files for printing issues
• Communicate with Designers about art edits and fixes
• Knowledge of Insite, Kodak Prinergy
• Track jobs to keep plates on schedule
• Work under high-pressure to meet fast deadlines
• Maintain good working relationships with production, Sales and Customer Service
• Must be able to work with others and follow instructions
• Understand and recognize traps, stepping out, repeats and prepress issues
• Understand the production process
• Protect company’s value by maintaining confidentiality of information 
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities 
• Regular attendance is required

• Basic computer knowledge
• Thorough understanding of spelling and grammar
• Must be able to work Monday – Friday during the hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Must be capable and willing to work more than a normal workweek with notice, as outlined in the 
• Personnel Handbook, as work level demands dictate.
• Must be able to distinguish and ensure accuracy of work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to use the Company’s software efficiently and effectively.
