Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse

Position Highlights Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, variable hours Location: Hinsdale, travel required Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits with healthcare navigation assistance Free mental health benefit Employer‑provided life and disability insurance $5,250 annual tuition reimbursement Immediate 401(k) match 40 hours paid volunteer time off Culture committed to community engagement and social impact Up to 12 weeks paid parental leave (100% pay) and financial benefit for adoption/surrogacy for non‑physician team members, once eligibility met Responsibilities Assist physicians in ensuring high patient satisfaction and quality care Provide education on disease processes, chemotherapy, precautions, side effects, symptoms, prosthesis, wigs, nutrition, and treatment of side effects Administer medication, initiate IVs via central venous devices or peripheral access, administer chemotherapy pre‑meds, chemotherapy, Remicade, and other meds as prescribed; monitor patients closely for adverse reactions, notify MD, and treat per orders Record treatments, assess and report patient condition, reaction to drugs, and teaching given; maintain dosage and route records Adhere to chemotherapy safety and precautions; maintain equipment for spills, knowledge of extravasation precautions and treatment Assist with bone marrow aspiration/biopsy procedures: obtain consent, prepare equipment, assist, and prepare specimens for lab Qualifications State Registered Nurse license Obtain chemotherapy biotherapy certification within 60 days of hire CPR certification Preferred: Two years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting Preferred: Previous oncology experience Compensation: Base pay range $32.65-49.00 per hour, adjusted for skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
