Daily Responsibilities:

• Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate surgical procedures
• Ensuring sterile fields are maintained while strictly following infection control practices
• Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical teams
• Overseeing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after surgeries
• Keeping track of supplies to ensure all materials are ready for each operation
• Working closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to provide seamless care
• Accurately maintaining surgical counts and records

Education Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary

Certifications Required:

• Valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is a must
• BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
