Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, particularly in personal injury, civil, and estate litigation. They will join a collaborative team dedicated to providing strategic legal representation. Duties Manage an active caseload across personal injury, estate, and civil litigation matters. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members. Engage closely with clients throughout their legal matters. Attend client meetings, closings, hearings, court conferences, and depositions. Conduct legal research and develop solutions-oriented strategies. Maintain client communication and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met. Contribute to the growth and expansion of the firm. Requirements 3 to 5 years of relevant litigation experience. New York Bar license in good standing; Connecticut admission preferred or willingness to obtain. Strong writing, analytical, and research skills. Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal technology. Professional communication with clients, courts, and colleagues. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
