Senior Salesforce Engineer

Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelors degree plus 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or a high school diploma/GED plus 8 years of equivalent experience.
• We prefer strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.
• We prefer experience designing and building complex, high-volume Apex logic such as triggers, batch, queueable, scheduled Apex, and asynchronous processing.
• We prefer a solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and multi-org or sandbox environments.
• We prefer hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• We prefer experience with CRM Analytics for creating datasets and dashboards.
• We prefer knowledge of Salesforce release management and deployment practices across sandboxes.
• We prefer strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• We prefer excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, or similar are a plus.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry, including familiarity with compliance frameworks such as AML, BSA, OFAC, or ADA accessibility standards, is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAQL and Einstein Discovery within CRM Analytics is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps or deployment tools such as AutoRabit, Flosum, or Copado is a plus.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading a small development team is a plus.

• We design, develop, and unit test custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Visualforce, and Flow.
• We build and maintain scalable, bulkified, and governor-limit-safe Apex code aligned with object-oriented design and Salesforce best practices.
• We design and implement complex data models, validation rules, triggers, and automation across multiple Salesforce clouds and org setups.
• We develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems such as MuleSoft, DocuSign, OnBase, and Fenergo using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware.
• We lead technical design discussions, create solution design documents, and assess build-versus-configure options for new needs.
• We build and support CRM Analytics dashboards, datasets, and recipes to meet business reporting requirements as a secondary focus.
• We perform code reviews, uphold secure coding standards including FLS, CRUD, and sharing rules, and mentor mid-level and junior developers.
• We troubleshoot production issues, complete root-cause analysis, and deliver lasting fixes.
• We participate in release management and deployment across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production sandboxes, coordinating with QA and release teams.
• We create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, integration designs, and deployment runbooks.
