Window Cleaner - Crew Leader

Summary:

• Icon Window Cleaning is currently seeking candidates to fill our Crew Leader / Foreman role. The Crew Leader works and supervises job site activities of window cleaning crews at commercial buildings throughout the St. Louis area. Directs job progress, controls labor costs and ensures quality of work as directed by Icon's Operations Manager. No window cleaning experience is necessary. We will train the right individual. Must have at least 1 year of previous supervisor experience.

Responsibilities:

• Wash interior and exterior windows of commercial buildings using extension poles and ladders.

• Work from and move 40' tall ladders.

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Directly supervise the activities of all personnel in the field assigned to their job.

• Clear and concise communication with customers and management team.

• Execution of projects/jobs within budget and on time.

• Training cleaners in proper safety and working procedures.

• Making daily work assignments to cleaners.

• Evaluating cleaner performance and ensuring required productivity is being achieved.

• Directly report to Icon's Operations Manager.

• Achieving standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work.

• Mentor and guide cleaning crews, achieving low employee turnover and high morale.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.

• At least 1 year of previous Supervisor experience.

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and precautions.

• Valid drivers' license with clean driving record.

• Able to perform duties with minimal supervision; demonstrate drive and initiative while responding to rapidly varying requirements.

• Able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone and in writing with Company, customers and employees.

• Able to schedule appointments and adapt to unexpected changes as necessary.

• Must be able to manage time effectively.

• Maintain a good attendance record.

• Willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate.

• Able to present a mature, professional appearance
