This role oversees vendor management, purchasing strategy, cost control, and inventory sourcing, ensuring that materials and products are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and meet quality and cost expectations.This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building strong vendor relationships, analyzing data to make smart purchasing decisions, and playing a key role in keeping production and fulfillment running smoothly.What You'll DoLead and oversee all purchasing functions, including material and product sourcingWork with others to analyze sales and inventory data to determine optimal purchasing levels and reorder pointsDevelop and implement purchasing strategies that align with operational goals and cost targetsIssue, manage, and track purchase orders with accurate specifications, pricing, and timelinesBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliersNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to improve margins and reduce lead timesMonitor vendor performance and conduct regular evaluations for quality, reliability, and costCollaborate with production, fulfillment, and customer service teams to align procurement with operational needsMaintain and enforce purchasing policies and ensure adherence to company standardsIdentify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and vendor consolidationProvide regular reporting on purchasing KPIs and inventory levels to leadershipPreferred QualificationsExperience in procurement, supply chain, global logistics and/or inventory managementStrong data analysis and reporting skillsProficient in Google Suite and spreadsheet managementStrong communication and negotiation skills for vendor managementAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesJob DetailsFull-time, onsite positionMonday-Thursday schedule10 hour shiftsOffice Location: 2901 W Clarendon Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85017 Monument Hobbies
