System Administrator 4-Cisco

Office of Administration requires the services of a Systems Administrator staff augmentation consultant to serve on the Enterprise Data Center Networking Team. Specific duties for the position include:

• This Staff Aug is a member of the EDC Network Operations Team.
• Responsible to submit, review and execute change management requests (CRQ) requested either internally or by agency staff.
• Responsible for the daily operations of the Enterprise Data Center production networking infrastructure environment.
• Responsible for ensuring that EDC provides the highest level of network performance and availability so that ESF can meet the 24 x 7 needs of its customers and service level agreements.
• Knowledge and professional applied experience with configuring Cisco network equipment in multi-protocol internetworks using LAN and WAN interfaces. Outstanding oral communication skills, including public speaking. Outstanding written communication skills, including writing complex documents.

Required/Desired Skills

• Experience working as a System Administrator - Required - 4 Years
• Knowledge of TCP IP, LAN/WAN, Service Provider/Extranet Networks, Ethernet switching, BGP, EIGRP, SNMP, VPN, MPLS, Traffic Engineering and IPSEC - Required - 4 Years
• Experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco Hardware (including 6500 Series; Nexus 7000 & 9000) - Required - 4 Years
