Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8th grade students at two vibrant school sites in a full-time, contract occupational therapy role for the upcoming academic year, starting mid-August through the end of the school year. This engaging position offers a chance to make a measurable difference in the lives of young learners in a dynamic and welcoming educational community.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid state licensure/certification as an OT
Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a K-8 or school-based setting preferred
Strong communication and collaborative skills, comfortable working with teachers, staff, and families
Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions for diverse student needs
Commitment to supporting student development and participating in IEP processes

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ IEPs
Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop strategies that foster student success
Document progress and maintain clear communication with team members
Support two school locations and manage a consistent, organized schedule
Participate in IEP meetings, in-service trainings, and ongoing professional development
