Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting cardiovascular procedures and patient safety. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care before, during, and after cardiac procedures within the Cath Lab.
• Prepare and maintain procedural rooms, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for use.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, ensuring accurate interpretation and timely intervention.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, providing updates on patient status throughout procedures.
• Manage supplies and inventory to support efficient workflow in the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Document patient assessments and clinical data thoroughly and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state Registered Nursing (RN) license.
• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Maintain current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications.
• Have at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care environment.
• Demonstrate experience with cardiac procedures and hemodynamic monitoring.
