Overview
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date: 11/09/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $2,714 to $2,891. Shift: four 10-hour days (days). Work in an inpatient endoscopy suite, supporting bronchoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) procedures. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during bronchoscopy, EUS, and EBUS procedures, with attention to physiological and psychological status changes.
- Care for patients recovering from sedation and monitor post-procedure vitals; identify and respond to complications.
- Deliver clear, concise discharge instructions and post-procedure care plans to patients and families.
- Apply nursing judgment to implement the care plan and address identified needs for each patient.
- Maintain equipment knowledge and proper handling, including cleaning and sterilization as appropriate.
- Adhere to infection control practices and work closely with the peri-procedural team to support safe, efficient procedures.

Requirements
- Current RN license suitable for practice in the applicable jurisdiction; eligibility to practice in California preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts within a 4x10-day schedule
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication for patient education and discharge instructions
- Comfort functioning in an endoscopy/procedural care environment
- Effective teamwork and adherence to established infection control protocols
