Sr. Lighting Sales Account Manager - Outside Sales (SF Bay Area)

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are a rapidly growing electrical wholesale distributor serving commercial contractors, OEMs, and industrial clients across Northern California. As an authorized distributor for leading electrical & lighting manufacturers, we supply advanced products and solutions across power distribution, lighting, controls, and renewable energy applications.

This is a high-impact Outside Sales role focused on driving revenue growth, expanding contractor relationships, and capturing project-based opportunities across the region. Full autonomy on how to run your book of business, with the support from leaders and support staff who want to help you win more business than ever before.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a book of business with electrical contractors, end users, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site visits, build relationships, and win project opportunities across commercial and industrial lighting projects.
• Drive revenue through jobsite activity, bid follow-up, and relationship development.
• Sell across core electrical categories including lighting, lighting controls, and related commodities.
• Partner with inside sales and operations to execute projects cleanly and quickly.
• Maintain visibility into pipeline, bids, and awarded work.
• Take ownership of your territory and treat it like your own business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within electrical distribution
• Track record of developing contractor relationships and closing project-based business
• Familiarity with products such as lighting, controls, switchgear, wire, and conduit preferred
• Strong territory management and pipeline discipline
• Self-driven with a high level of urgency and follow-through
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
