Physical Therapy AssistantWallowa Memorial Rehabilitation Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA is responsible for administering therapeutic treatments in accordance with individualized patient care plans. This role plays a key part in helping patients regain strength, mobility and independence, while maintaining a high standard of care and promoting a supportive healing environment.Responsibilities Include:Administering physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical TherapistAssisting patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities and mobility trainingMonitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatmentCommunicating effectively with the Physical Therapist and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated careEducating patients and families on home exercises and safety strategiesEnsuring treatment areas and equipment are clean, safe and properly maintainedIf you're a motivated PTA who enjoys working closely with patients to support their recovery and rehabilitation goals, we'd love to hear from you!
