district shift leader

Overview Einstein Bros. Bagels has been baking fresh bagels daily since 1995. We are looking for a next General Manager through our District Shift Leader development program. Responsibilities Perform daily store management duties at a home location. Support other bakeries in the market as required. Lead by example, act as a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for teams. Manage store operations including inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. Analyze P&L, food cost, and labor targets; schedule staff and recruit quality team members. Work shifts beginning as early as 3 a.m.; ensure high‑quality food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early hours and weekends, starting as early as 3 a.m. Must pass a background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license. Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan unless already possessed. Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market and accept a permanent General Manager promotion when available.
