As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for a Recruiter to help support our hiring efforts and provide a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process. Location: Columbus, OH (In-Office) Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Position Overview As a Recruiter at JSET, you’ll support day‑to‑day hiring efforts across a variety of positions, including field, technical, operational, and office‑based roles. This role focuses heavily on candidate outreach, phone screening, interview coordination, hiring manager support, recruiting administration, and onboarding coordination. Success comes from staying organized, communicating effectively, following through on commitments, and moving candidates efficiently through the hiring process. While previous recruiting experience is valuable, we’re looking for someone who is professional, detail‑oriented, adaptable, and excited to grow within a recruiting career. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys recruiting execution, candidate interaction, and process coordination and is not a people‑management role. Key Responsibilities Review applications and conduct initial candidate outreach Complete phone screens and candidate qualification conversations Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the ATS Provide timely updates and communication to candidates throughout the hiring processSupport hiring managers by coordinating schedules, gathering feedback, and maintaining recruiting visibility Assist with offer preparation and pre‑employment activities Support onboarding coordination and new hire handoff processes Maintain recruiting trackers, reports, and documentation Participate in career fairs, hiring events, and recruiting initiatives as needed Deliver a professional and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruiting process What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, coordination, administration, or another people‑focused role Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Comfortable conducting phone screens and speaking with candidates throughout the day Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized during periods of high hiring volume Strong follow‑through and responsiveness Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word Ability to work full‑time in our Columbus office Positive attitude and willingness to learn Nice to Have Previous recruiting or staffing experience Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Experience supporting construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, automation, or technical hiring Experience coordinating interviews, onboarding activities, or hiring events Bilingual (English/Spanish) Why Join JSET?
