Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrains. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair recommendations, timelines, and service updates. Work with manufacturers and technical support teams to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues. Complete detailed and accurate work orders documenting diagnoses, repairs, parts used, and labor performed. Collect and submit warranty information with proper supporting documentation. Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Take pride in workmanship and consistently deliver high-quality repairs. Qualifications Previous diesel technician/mechanic experience is required. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and repair procedures. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Experience completing repair documentation and work orders accurately. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Interest in future leadership or management responsibilities is a plus.
