Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, supporting a dynamic community environment with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe resident and visitor activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
- Support property operations by assisting with after-hours calls, checking amenity areas, and providing visible presence throughout the location during assigned shifts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
