Stacker

StackerThe Stacker's primary responsibility is to feed and/or stack lumber into and off a saw.Duties / Responsibilities:Feeding and/or stacking lumber into a saw to be cut to a specific size.Lifts material repeatedly.Verifies cut size using tape measure according to cut sheet.Bands finished product together and labels it for forklift operators to take to next station.Cleans and maintains equipment and surrounding area.Performs other duties as assigned.Assist other Team Members within the department as needed.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experienceMust have the ability to work well with a partnerMust have a passion for quality and be naturally attentive to detailsMust be reliable and able to work at an efficient paceDemonstrates honesty and integrity. Has a strong work ethic. Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop throughout the day.Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day, as well as other physical duties as needed.Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 hours per day with 2 – 15 minutes breaks in between.Must be able to utilize tools.Must be able to lift and carry lumber of different sizes and other products.Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members.Must be able to learn and follow company procedures and work instructions consistently.Must be able to work in an extremely fast pace environment.Must be able to work in extreme temperature.Why Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
