AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for its Advanced Specialty Team focused on ATTR treatment, covering Colorado and New Mexico. The role involves developing clinical expertise, engaging healthcare professionals, and executing strategic sales plans in a specialized therapeutic market.

Responsibilities

Develop and demonstrate knowledge of clinical disease states and treatment guidelines
Communicate product information effectively to healthcare professionals
Analyze market trends and develop strategic business plans aligned with patient access challenges
Create tailored customer experiences based on account and HCP-specific needs
Identify and implement process improvements and innovative sales engagement approaches

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
3+ years sales or commercial experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industry
Account planning and complex reimbursement model experience or internal AZ certification
Valid driver's license with safe driving record
Advanced therapeutic area expertise in specialized markets
Ability to engage senior-level healthcare professionals and administrators
Strong clinical acumen and data analysis proficiency

Compensation: $121,925–$227,246 base annually; eligible for short-term incentive bonuses, equity awards, and commissions
