We are seeking an experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team. Facilities Maintenance & Environmental Services Associate Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM At our hospital, we believe a clean, well-maintained facility is an essential part of providing exceptional patient care and an outstanding client experience. We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Facilities Maintenance & Environmental Services Associate who takes pride in creating and maintaining a spotless, welcoming environment. This is a hands-on position focused entirely on facility maintenance, housekeeping, and janitorial responsibilities. Our hospital is a large, high-end veterinary facility with a busy team and a high volume of patients and clients. We are looking for someone who understands that cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail directly contribute to the quality of care we provide. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Daily Duties

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the hospital.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain all hard flooring.
  • Clean and disinfect exam rooms and common areas.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Empty trash and replace liners.
  • Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout treatment, offices, hallways, break areas, and client spaces.
  • Respond to cleaning needs throughout the day to ensure the hospital remains presentable.
Weekly Duties
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and office areas.
  • Deep clean staff offices, break rooms, and administrative spaces.
  • Dust furniture, shelving, vents, and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of equipment, fixtures, and other assigned areas.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and cleaning checklists.
Monthly & Periodic Duties
  • Steam clean carpets.
  • Perform detailed deep cleaning throughout the hospital.
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance projects.
  • Complete additional facility maintenance tasks as assigned.
Exterior Responsibilities
  • Keep sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor client areas clean and presentable.
  • Empty exterior trash receptacles.
  • Pick up litter around the parking lot and surrounding property.
  • During winter weather, shovel and treat sidewalks and client walking areas to help provide a safe environment.
  • Help maintain the overall appearance of the hospital grounds.
