Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients on a 21-bed high-acuity unit specializing in pulmonary diseases
• Monitor and interpret continuous cardiac telemetry; telemetry competency test required on Day 1
• Manage a complex patient population with rapid turnover and varying levels of care needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience
• Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory - no training or refreshers provided; must be clearly documented at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced respiratory or pulmonary care setting
• Familiarity floating across multiple Med-Surg specialties such as Oncology, Cardiac, or Stroke units
• Demonstrated adaptability and efficiency in environments with rapid patient turnover
