Clinical Pharmacist

Role Overview This position is for a licensed pharmacist responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services in an Operating Room satellite pharmacy. Key Responsibilities Manage medication workflows, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulations. Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, promote safety, and resolve medication-related issues. Serve as a resource for drug information, staff training, and medication therapy management. Assess, monitor, and adjust medication use based on patient condition and age. Participate in departmental meetings and committees to improve pharmacy services. Qualifications & Skills Pharmacy degree (Bachelor's or Doctorate preferred). Licensure in Medication Therapy Services in MO and RPh certification. Less than 2 years of experience required; 2-5 years preferred. Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently. Previous OR experience is highly preferred. Additional Information The role involves working Mon-Fri during daytime hours, every third weekend, with holiday rotation.
