Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Contract Assignment
Location: Downers Grove, IL 60515 Scrubs: Provided Parking: Free onsite Orientation: Up to 1 week
About the Cath Lab
Good Samaritan's Cath Lab operates 4 procedure labs and manages 1523 adult cardiac cases per day. The department provides both inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiac services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Technology & Equipment Used:
- EPIC Charting
- Alaris IV Pumps
- Pyxis Medication Dispensing
- Zoll Defibrillator
- Philips Fluoroscopy System
- Merge Hemodynamics
- Datascope IABP
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
- Associate's degree
- Active Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- ARRT or RTR
- Illinois State License (IEMA)
- Prior EPIC experience
Highly Preferred:
- RCIS (CCI)
- EPIC Cupid experience
Required Clinical Skills
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique
- Sheath pulling
- TR Band placement & removal
- Line securement
- EKG & cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with IABP and Impella devices
