Detroit Dover Animal Hospital in Westlake, OH (affluent suburb 20 minutes from Cleveland) is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!

Detroit Dover Animal Hospital is a community based small animal practice that is proud to have served the west side of Cleveland since 1958. As an AAHA accredited practice we strive to provide an excellent standard of care. We have six doctors and a highly trained support staff including several registered veterinary technicians specializing in customer service. Our doctors have varied casework, everything from standard Wellness and vaccine visits to Geriatric exams, Dental Care, Dermatology, Behavior, and disease management. We have excellent client compliance, where our clients treat their pets like family.

All experience levels welcome to apply. We are a family-oriented practice that values work/life balance. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and excellent benefits offered. A base range of $120,000-$150,000 can be expected.

About Our Hospital
• State of the art radiology equipment: Digital Radiography and Dental Radiography with ability to consult with Board Certified Radiologist.
• In House Laboratory
• New Ultrasound
• Designated surgical suite
• Up to date Surgical Monitoring and anesthetic equipment
• Reference Laboratory
• No overnight hours
• Excellent working relationship with the three Specialty Veterinary Hospitals in the area.
• Our Senior staff members have a wealth of knowledge and are more than willing to share that knowledge and discuss cases.
• We are willing to discuss new advancements in technique and pharmacology.
• Flexible scheduling, 35 hrs/4-5 days per week, alternating half day Saturdays

• Assistant Hospital Manager, Bentley Ru, prides himself on being the Culture Officer of the Detroit Dover team.
• Bentley Ru likes to keep things cool, calm, and collected. You don't want a visit from the "drama llama"!
• Bozo the clown keeps spirits light in the treatment area and holds on to the team "wig" for those patients that might be a bit skittish.
