Our organization is in search of a committed and proficient Advanced Practice Provider (NP) to become a part of our Pulmonary Critical Care and Intensivist team. You will collaborate with five attending physicians specializing in critical care and work alongside seven other Advanced Practice Providers in a supportive, team-oriented rotation. This role presents an exciting chance to engage in critical care medicine at two exceptional facilities located in California's Central Valley.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Employed (W-2)

Work Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Work Locations: Doctors Medical Center (Modesto, CA) & Emanuel Medical Center (Turlock, CA)

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 per year (based on experience) + Sign-on Bonus

Team Composition: 5 Critical Care Attendings and 7 APPs in a collaborative rotation

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU across various units, including the Critical Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neuro Critical Care Unit, and Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).

• Conduct patient evaluations, formulate treatment strategies, and coordinate care in partnership with Intensivists and the multidisciplinary ICU team.

• Perform and assist with ICU procedures such as central line placements, arterial line insertions, intubations, and ventilator management.

• Engage in daily ICU rounds with attending physicians and address acute changes in patient conditions.

• Participate in a one-week-on, one-week-off block rotation, collaborating with five critical care attendings and seven fellow APPs.

• Provide coverage at both Doctors Medical Center in Modesto and Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock as part of the group’s schedule.

• Accurately document patient care and maintain effective communication with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and their families.

• 465-bed multispecialty Level II Trauma Center.

• 15 advanced operating rooms, 3 Labor and Delivery rooms, 4 GI/IR procedure rooms, and 3 Cath Labs.

• 44 ICU beds distributed across SICU, CVICU, Neuro Critical Care, and Critical Care units.

• Equipped with Impella and ECMO capabilities.

• Designated as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center—one of only 26 in California and the sole center in the Central Valley (Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval).

• Offers robotic services with 3 Da Vinci Xi systems, a Hybrid Room, and a Bi-Plane Room.

• Home to over 2,200 medical staff members across various specialties.

• A sister hospital providing ICU coverage on a rotating block schedule with the group.

• Fosters a collaborative environment with cross-coverage support from the Intensivist team.

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

• Possession of a current California NP license (or eligibility to obtain one).

• National certification (ANCC, AANP).

• Board certified or board eligible in Acute Care (ACNP or AG-ACNP preferred for NPs).

• ICU or critical care experience is strongly preferred; however, new graduates with robust critical care clinical rotations will be considered.

• BLS, ACLS, and FCCS certifications (or willingness to obtain).

• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities.
